Baseball Scholarship Essay
Form
To qualify for the scholarship, each child (aged 8-16) must do the following:

Register for the 2009 RailCats Baseball Camp |

Write a short essay on why you would like to be chosen to win the scholarship and what you think makes a great baseball player |
Completed essays can be dropped off at any of the bank’s four locations in the communities of Munster, Hammond, Dyer or Schererville, or may be mailed to the attention of Patrick Galvin at the US Steelyard, One Stadium Plaza, Gary, IN 46402. All essays must be submitted by July 10, 2009 and winners will be announced on July 17, 2009 at the RailCats game.
The RailCats Kids
Baseball Camp, for players aged 8-16, will run on July 17th and
18th of this year at the US Steelyard and offers participants
instruction on baseball fundamentals including hitting, pitching, catching
and fielding. The camp will feature instruction from RailCats Manager Greg
Tagert, with assistance from RailCats coaches and players, with all
participants divided into groups based on their experience and skill level.
